Ephesians 3:20 -- Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
Do the circumstances you're facing in life right now have you feeling powerless? Life "happening" has a way of making us feel powerless...I know it does sometimes for me and I'm sure that I am not alone! Well, I've got good news for us from the mouth of God Himself. His word tells us that the moment we accepted Him as Lord over our lives, we also received the Holy Spirit -- it now indwells (permanently present) us! The question is, are we activating that power or are we just sitting on it? No matter how great our challenges, God's power -- the power inside of us is greater. No matter where we are or what is happening in our lives, it's not just power in and of ourselves, it is His power operating in and through us, BUT, we have a part to play..a decision to make -- will we activate this power or just let it lie dormant inside of us? We must empty ourselves of ourselves in order for God's power within us to take control. His power empowers us to be transformed...to be an overcomer...to be more than a conqueror and so much more. So let us "be renewed in the Spirit of our mind" (Ephesians 4:23)..."be strong in the Lord and the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10) and let us not "give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27) -- don't let him steal or in any way usurp our God-given power! Ladies, let's purpose today to walk in power and live our lives as the powerful women of God that He created us to be!
