Monthly ❤To❤ (What's In A Name?)

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
My birth name is Candace.  In the bible Candace was the Queen of Ethiopia.  We were all given a name at birth and many of our names have specific meanings.  Our names are said to have a significant influence on what we think of ourselves and what others think of us.  When we accepted Christ, God gave us a new name in Him to change our identity and become a part of His divine plan for our lives.  As Christian women the names we use to describe ourselves is critical and speaks to whether or not we know who we are in the Lord.  Today I call myself a conqueror.
Romans 8:37 -- I am more than a conqueror through Him Who loves me.

Question:  If you were asked to tell who you are without giving your name, job title, occupation or anything else, how would you answer?

  1. My birth name is Juanita. In Spanish it is the female form of John. In Hebrew it means Gift from God or God is gracious.

James 1:17 tells us that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

If you were to ask me who I am ... I would say Priceless! :-)
